It’s not been easy at times, a financial struggle that covid see the start of Red Bus Communications Ltd, still in business today, just. Next months budget may see RBC go under and fold.
I won’t lie the businesses of the UK fearing Labour getting in in the coming general election of 2024 absolutely put the kybosh on trade that hasn’t recovered to any degree in nearly a year.
Companies fleeing the UK as they know labour are a party of taxation, even on those that barely scrape National Living Wage.
Often hours put in to unpaid to find work, unpaid travel too work, no paid holidays, no paid sick leave and living like a pauper, too only get worse under a labour govt that as we see looks after the unions and well paid train drivers.
Sad times ahead for many small businesses that’ll go under in the next five years thanks to labour’s increasing taxes.
Now RBC can at present offer basic electrical like for like swap outs on domestic and commercial properties.
Currently studying electrical installation techniques and methods with the electrical academy in Maidstone level 2 NVQ module 1 passed 90% with distinction and module 2 passed 88% with distinction.

Old data cabling double AT&T ‘biscuit’ type connector. Not made any of these off since the late 90’s and you’ll never find this much exposed wires folded into the back box by engineers at Red Bus Coms.
New Cat 6 going in to this local rural university location for ATS.

Been a busy few weeks at RBC.
Sub contract data cabling a few weeks back at Hadlow College, Kent and St Marks School in Rochester, Kent.
A revisit to a customer in Southborough who’s initial tv aerial installer carried out a poor installation, not upto CAI standards, replaced broken bricks in the bungalow wall due to the upper aerial bracket rawbolted into the top brick course and wind vibration on the antenna pole causing the cement to fail and bricks to split, thanks to 80mph gusts from storm eunice the bricks failed and down came the aerial.
Then on route home a survey in Tonbridge of a customers TV reception issues and discussion of replacing existing 20 year old cabling with current HiDef coax, possible aerial replacement and duplicated sky dish removal.
Tomorrow (Saturday) off to survey a phone line extension going into a new extension, with prospect of more work required.
