The sheer number of white cells (pupating insects) and the number of grubs and eggs vastly out number the empty cells suggesting this nest was only ‘half done’!!!

So much to take in with this picture, the ‘grubs’ on the left of the comb, a (large) newly emerged ‘queen’ walking over the woven caps of ‘pupating’ insects and a partially emerged ‘worker’ struggling to exit its cell.
The ‘Big reveal’!
The Hornets nest I treated in Penshurst yesterday is huge.. and so interesting!!
I’ll put some pictures up too in a while.
European `Hornets’ have made a very dangerous nest in the pool pump shed, it appears to be made inside at the top right of the door and the inside right of the shed meaning if the owner had opened the door it’s likely he would have ripped the nest wide open and got multiple stings from a very angry swarm.
See the next video for the reaction I got when I treated them… the footage of the ground is whilst I was being attacked by approx 30 Hornets who knew who to blame!!!
Watch out for tomorrow’s footage when I go to remove it!!!
