There is a photo and posts on Facebook, with a copy of Roxy music with Graham Simpson's signature in it. Please be wary of this and any copy that you see of this album with Graham Simpson's autograph as I can assure you it is FAKE. I have posted what the message below everywhere that I see it.

The Graham Simpson autograph is FAKE

I met Graham as part of the making of a film about him. He had never signed a copy until I had met him as he had been missing for years and re-surfaced after nearly 40 years.

He recorded the album, and left the band soon after. He left the country soon after the album came out. He was never around fans or did gigs with the band once the album was out. (I have him on film telling me that)
He was never in a position to sign any autographs, and left the country and the music business for years.

He confirmed this to me when I met him and that him signing my copy was the first one that he had signed.....he died not long after that and I know that he had not met any fans after that.

My copy was online as i thought fans would like to see it but someone copied and tried to FAKE it, and tried to sell a copy for £1600 on EBAY.
I exposed him as a FAKE and it was taken down from EBAY. That FAKE as well as the FAKE shown above make the same mistake (which I will never point out).

Having the only signed copy is not what I am trying to protect. I wouldn't care if another 100 people had a copy genuinely signed by Graham Simpson, but there isn't.

What bothers me is that people are trying to pass something off that is FAKE and this leaves open the potential for exploitation, just like the EBAY guy did, trying to extort lots of money.

If you see a signed copy of the first album with Graham Simpson's autograph then I can tell you 100% it is a FAKE
