2nd Inverness Scout Group

A bit rainy but we've made the most of it! Gateway built, along with some camp gadgets. All the Scouts enjoyed the challenges of Trading Post and after joining an Aberdeen group for their final campfire, we're settling in to bed and looking forward to better weather tomorrow!

Safely arrived at site! We've set up all our tents and had a great tea prepared by the Scouts; we are ready for a good sing song now!

The Beavers had a fantastic last night before the summer holidays playing frisbee golf at Castle Heather Park. We gave out the last of our badges we’d earned this term including 2 Chief Scout Bronze awards. A big thank you to all who have helped us over the last year and we’ll see you all after the summer.

What an exciting evening our Cathedral Beavers had visiting the amazing team at Inverness Fire Station! 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

We learned all about fire safety, discovered what firefighters do to keep our communities safe, and had the opportunity to explore the fire engines up close. 🚒✨

One of the highlights of the evening was seeing the specialist rescue boat based here in Inverness and learning how it is used to help people in emergencies on the water. 🚤🌊

A huge thank you to everyone at Inverness Fire Station for their warm welcome, fascinating demonstrations, and for sharing their knowledge with us. The Beavers had a fantastic time and learned so much! 😊
