A message from our Creative Director, Shaun:

“This time last year I was invited by the PACE team, The Training Club back then, to come along and capture Summer Turf Games 2025, my first real piece of work with the team.

Since then, I’ve been properly engulfed by this community.

Looking back now, it’s mad to think how much has changed in a year. Not just the name, the branding, the coaches, the members, but the feeling around the whole place as well. What was already a strong team environment has grown into something that feels even bigger, clearer and more connected.

From my side, PACE has given me a space to grow massively. It’s given me the chance to practise, experiment, make mistakes, improve, and keep sharpening my skills whilst actually delivering real work. That’s a rare thing, and I don’t take it lightly.

To Wallace, Connor and Eilidh, thank you for trusting me with something as important as the image of your business. You guys have been so kind and so encouraging in allowing me the freedom to run with it, create, and really make the role my own. That level of trust and support means a huge amount to me, and it’s something I’m very grateful for.

To the coaches, thank you for constantly leaning into the fact I’m there with a camera in your face. You’ve all made it easy for me to do what I do. The support from everyone is unmatched, and very much appreciated.

And to the members, thank you for being so open, so sound, and so accepting. That’s probably the biggest thing I’ve felt over the last year. It has never felt like I’m just showing up to shoot content, it’s felt like being welcomed into a proper community. Your individual journeys over the past year have been nothing short of amazing and seeing you guys compete at these events inspires me so much!

A year on from my first Turf Games with this team, I’m very grateful to still be here capturing it all. We’ve got some great plans in the works, and I can’t wait for what’s to come.
