Lotte Simons Photography

A veterinary hospital is never the place I want to be meeting foals for the first time but unfortunately that's exactly where this little champ had his first photoshoot experience.

His prospects day by day weren't looking good and we had wondered if he would even stay with us long enough for me to meet him.

At just 9 days old, Togo had already stolen everyone's hearts and this photoshoot was geared up to potentially be commemorative for his breeder. Watching him playing in the field you would never guess his young body was fighting to stay alive.

Yet there was something about this lad that gave me hope he would pull through and I'm absolutely delighted to say that thanks to the care from staff at Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic he made it back home over a week ago.

Togo is a huge character for such a little body with a promising future ahead of him.

The price we pay for love, is loss.

If photography can do one thing, it's give back a small piece of what time takes away from you.

So take photos. Capture memories, preserve their personality and give yourself a way back to your horse.

And if you need someone else to take those photos for you, my inbox is open.

Would your photos honestly stop you scrolling if they weren't yours? If not, then your ideal client isn't stopping either.

You know best the characteristics your clients look for in a horse. Whilst conformation and headshots certainly have their place, stud and sales shoots don't have to simply be your horse stood up square. They can play a much wider role in your overall marketing strategy.

So whichever quality you need capturing, ability, conformation or character, I’ll create images that help your horse and business stand out.

Head to my website for more on how I can capture eye-catching photos of your horses.
