Due to our continued growth, we are looking to appoint an Engineer to join our Professional Services team based in Wooburn Green.
The Role
The successful candidate will have considerable practical IT experience ideally with an MSP environment, will be able to work independently and as part of a team, be people focused and be a creative problem solver.
The role will encompass both support and varied project implementations including server upgrades and refreshes, Microsoft 365 Migrations to building hybrid Azure and on-premise solutions including appliance and hosted security implementations.
Applicants for the role will undergo a full enhanced DBS check. There will be travel to other sites, so applicants must hold a full clean driving license, travelling expenses will be reimbursed or a vehicle will be provided.

You will primarily be based at the Reading address with occasional travel to Wooburn
The Role
To provide onsite IT support to schools
Maintaining accurate time keeping and the ability to work in a team
Escalating issues to the Resource Manager (when required) in a timely manner
Ideal Required Experience (training given)
Windows Server (2008 – 2019)
Microsoft Exchange, Office365 and Active Directory Sync
Active Directory, Group Policy Management and Print Management
Remote Desktop Services
Smoothwall and Sophos
Personal Attributes
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritise case load and manage time effectively
Proactive approach to improving the quality of service we provide
Willingness to learn and succeed
Qualifications and other requirements
5 GCSE’s grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
Ability to pass a DBS check
If you hold a driving licence this is a bonus/highly beneficial

This is via QA apprenticeship provider.
Programme: England DXD/IT Systems and networking/Infrastructure Technician/Level 3 via QA
