Day 21 ⭐️

In May 2025 Lisa, Mark and Rich ran the Milton Keynes half marathon for their dear friend Kirsty who was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2021.

Through their fundraising efforts they managed to raise over £4,285 for Brainstorm, an incredible achievement!

And it’s even better to see the smiles on their faces after the run.

Day 18 ⭐️

Myth: Brain tumours only affect older people.
Fact: Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40 in the UK.

Despite this, they remain historically underfunded compared to many other cancers.

Raising awareness is a crucial step in changing that. The more people understand the reality of brain tumours, the more we can push for better funding, better research and better outcomes for patients.
