International Yoga Day 2023: Yogathon
Join us on Sunday 18th June at 9.45 am for the Sun Salutation Challenge with Warm-up, breathing techniques, and Relaxation.

About this Event

Come to the Headstone Recreation Ground (Next to Headstone Manor and Museum) from 9.45 am to 12.00 pm on Saturday 18th June for the celebration of International Yoga Day 2023 invited by Soham Yoga London - Yogathon Challenge!

The Yogathon Challenge is to complete few rounds of Sun Salutations! They are a series of 12 powerful Yoga postures, which rejuvenate the body, mind, and spirit! The Sun Salutations a wholesome workout, which helps develop physique, muscle strength, and reflexes, research suggests that it is one of the best things you can do for the mind as well. The well-known benefits include improved concentration & confidence and also lowered stress and anxiety.

Event Schedule:

9.45 am: Registration and reporting begin

10.00 am: Speech by Deputy Mayor Cllr Ramji Chauhan along with Councillor Headstone South Sasi Suresh along with Councillor Rayners Lane Suresh Krishna.

10.15 am : Fagun leads Warm up technique

10.40 am: Srini leads Breathing Technique

10.50 am: All Yoga Teachers lead the Yogathon. Hari is the lead for 108 rounds of Sun Salutation.

11.00 am: Chief Guests depart. We say thanks to them and we continue with Sun Salutation after they take a leave.

Those who want to continue sun salutation will continue. Those who want to rest would rest.

11.45 am: we conclude 108 rounds of Sun Salutation and Saroji leads Yoga Nidra

12.00 pm: We end the session

The Yogathon is led by experienced Soham Yoga Teachers and begins at 10.15 am. Please support the team in the Yogathon challenge and contribute towards a great cause to educate young girls in India.

This yoga session is for everyone (No age limit). Family can join along with their kids
