Vegetation clearance of a site located near Nottingham.
Clearance of brambles and scrub in preparation for herbicide application. Flailing thick vegetation prior to spraying is the optimum method, to ensure an effective treatment is completed.

Works have been completed prior to bird nesting season to comply with the Wildlife and Countryside act.

Our alpine tractor paired with the dragone hammer flail head makes light work of scrub clearance and leaves an almost invisible footprint compared to a standard tractor and flail.

At the start of the year we completed an Ash tree clearance within the bird hide woodland at Fountains Abbey on behalf of APT Countryside Management.
60 Ash trees infected with Chalara ash dieback (Hymenoscyphus Fraxineus) were safely dismantled, brash chipped and timber extracted from site.
