I asked ChatGPT to create an image of me based on everything it has learned about me over the years. This is what it came up with! 😄
I have to admit... it did a pretty good job! It somehow captured my love of property, AI, travel, photography, helping people, and always looking for the next opportunity.
It even turned me into a "rare species" with its own field guide! 😂
It wasn't perfect though... apparently ChatGPT thinks I survive on coffee. It should have known by now that chocolate is my real fuel! 🍫🤣
It's fascinating how AI can pick up on our goals, habits, and personality from thousands of conversations.

From 6 Months to 23 Years: A Journey I Never Planned

End of May 2003, I stood at Victoria Coach Station with one small bag in my hands and a plan to stay in London for just 6 months.

23 years later... I'm still here.

And today marks another milestone: 10 years since I opened my first property management company on 16th May 2016.

I can't believe it's been 23 years since I arrived.
I can't believe it's been 10 years since I took that leap into business.

Time really does fly.

But when I look back, I see so much more than just years passing:

📚 Education has been everything. I've lost count of the courses, seminars, and training programmes I've invested in. The money spent? More than I'd like to add up. The return? Priceless. You never stop learning, and the moment you think you know it all - life will humble you fast.

💪 Resilience isn't built in the good times. The countless ups and downs taught me more than any textbook ever could. The ups taught me to celebrate. The downs taught me to survive, adapt, and come back stronger.

🤝 Your network becomes your net worth. The friendships that became family, the mentors who guided me, the connections that opened doors - they've been worth more than any business asset.

✨ The lessons that shaped who I am today. Every challenge, every mistake, every victory - they all had something to teach me.

🎯 You never stop growing. I'm as hungry to learn today as I was 23 years ago. Maybe even more so.

Today I'm grateful.
Grateful I stayed.
Grateful I kept learning.
Grateful I took the risk.

And I'm not done yet. I'll keep growing, keep asking questions, keep pushing myself to learn what I don't know. Because the day I stop being curious is the day I stop living.

Amazing day in Sunderland yesterday! 🙌

Caught up with two fantastic property Ladies Laura Ennis and Laura Mmn over a lovely beach-side lunch 🌊🍽️ — brilliant chat, lots of laughs, and then a tour of a couple of properties they manage nearby.

These two are going to be managing my new Sunderland house, and after spending the day with them, I have absolutely zero worries. Professional, passionate, and great company to boot! 🏡✨

So grateful to have the right people in my corner. You know who you are — thank you! 💛

The Kitchen Dilemma!🤔

So I was at my new house yesterday (yes, the one I bought just a month ago!) and I had one of those classic "do I or don't I" moments standing in the kitchen.

My original plan? Keep it. It wasn't in bad condition, just needed a few tweaks. New handles, a fresh sink, a nice tap, and a new worktop. Simple, budget-friendly, done.

Then yesterday my builder came over: and you know how it goes. One look, one conversation, and somehow we talked ourselves into a full kitchen replacement!…

And honestly? It kind of makes sense. The whole house is getting refurbished anyway, so if we're going to do it, better to do it properly NOW rather than live with a half-done job and start ripping things out again in a few years.

Of course, this means deeper pockets and a friendly chat with my credit cards. 😅 But sometimes you've just got to do it right the first time!
