One benefit of having a business page I hadn’t even considered was having an extra entry into a free prize draw! 😂
Many thanks to Chloe Cochrane-Davies at .of.bake.believe for delivering the prize! 🙏❤️
She’s done some cakes for me in the past and we’ve never been disappointed.
If you’re considering any event that requires baking then I’d highly recommend a chat with Chloe.

Happy Saturday! ❤️ 🎂

Good morning!
My Friday Fact in Armed Forces week just had to be military related… 🐐
🏴 The Royal Welsh Regiment’s mascot is a regimental goat, who takes part in ceremonial parades.
Fusilier Shenkin IV is the mascot of the 3rd Battalion.
Fusilier Llewellyn II is the mascot of the 1st Battalion.
This tradition dates back to the 18th century, when a wild goat is said to have walked onto the battlefield before the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775.
It was seen as a good omen by the regiment.
The goat’s handler is a soldier known as the Goat Major, whose job it is to look after, train and parade him.
The goats are officially enlisted ranking soldiers with a rank and service number and they receive a salary which covers their upkeep and vet bills.
A previous regimental goat named William Windsor, was once demoted from lance corporal to fusilier after head-butting a bandsman during a parade for Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday 😂🙈
Subsequently, after demonstrating much better behaviour, he earned his rank back!
“Even goats have to obey Army discipline.” 🐐😂
Happy Friday

Hey again.
It’s Thursday of Armed Forces week.
And I’m blaming EVERYTHING on the weather… 🥵
So I remember learning ‘there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing’.
I’m trying desperately to work out what would be appropriate clothing this week…
A raincoat when it’s raining and a bobble hat and gloves when it’s freezing are obvious.
When it’s hotter than the devil’s armpit when he’s in a bad mood??
All I can suggest is light, comfortable clothing: and plenty of shower gel and clean underwear! 😂🙈
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve showered this week but maybe extra towels is also a good shout.
Any tips you’ve learned over the years to manage the weather???
Keep the faith: the weekend is just around the next bend.
