Mini-budget: Chancellor cuts income tax and stamp duty in bid to boost growth - BBC News Kwasi Kwarteng sets out some of the most significant tax cuts in decades, but Labour says it's an admission of economic failure.

- Stamp duty waived for properties up to a purchase price of £500,000
- Available for buyers in England and NI
- Therefore nearly 9 out of 10 buyers will pay no stamp duty
- Takes effect immediately, available for properties completing up until 31/05/2021
- Saving up to £15,000
- Clients buying second homes or BTL properties up to £500,000 will benefit but will still have to pay the 3% extra duty
