The live semi-finals of National Chef of the Year and Young National Chef of the Year made a comeback over the last week and we’ve loved playing a part of it.

A little bit of luck goes a long way…

At The Craft Guild of Chefs NCOTY and YNCOTY semi-finals in Sheffield, competitors and judges were greeted with their very own pair of Allan Reeder ‘lucky cow’ socks. This was a little gesture to bring smiles before the more serious business began in the kitchen.

We loved seeing the reactions to this gift and can’t wait to hand out more socks at the London semi-finals. Who will be the first chef to put theirs on?

Ben is our operations manager and many of you will know James from being out and about at industry events working on our marketing activity and social media, he also supports our night operations giving him valuable involvement across multiple areas of the business.
