We have had a few members of staff who have had their work anniversaries this month and last month! We have foreseen Gerry and Laurens year anniversary of working here at Castleton, and we have seen our treatment coordinator Holly through her second year. Team Tuesdays! Today we are introducing you to the big boss and practice owner – Peter! 🦷 🪥

Peter Johnston is our principal dentist and is the owner here at Castleton. 👨🏽‍⚕️ Peter qualified in 1992 and went onto take over the partnership here in 1998. Peter has a special interest in endodontics and is passionate about the perfectionism it takes to complete an intricate root filling. In recent years, Peter has taken over sole ownership of Castleton. Peters’ talent paired with his professionalism and knowledge of the industry, contribute to his long established and adoring patient base. With 2017 marking Peter’s 20th year at Castleton Dental, word of mouth around Farnham still serves Castleton well, reflected by our ever-growing list of patients.
Peter is an avid sportsman, with interest in playing squash and golf. He enjoys skiing with his family and is always paying close attention to what’s happening at Wimbledon. Peter is married with 3 children and loves spending quality time with them– even though he feels his children are growing up too fast!

Today we commence World Wellbeing Week. It returns for its fourth year to enable participants from all around the world to celebrate all aspects of wellbeing. COVID-19 introduced the world to anguish and uncertainty unlike anything before thought possible, encouraging the people of the world to adapt mentally and emotionally and creating a modified sense of resilience. As everyone struggles to adjust to post covid normality, it is crucial that we all maintain a healthy state of mind. Keeping things like your oral health in check are easy and important ways to better oneself and contribute toward confidence by providing a healthy smile. 🦷❤️
