This issue is introduction to the concept of Rethinking, what the committee thinks it is and what we plan to do for the bigger picture of Rethinking.

Welcome to our first taster session! We'll be throwing out a large variety of questions for us to chat about and make up some ideas. Everyone is welcome so bring your friend to Peter Chalk seminar rooms 1.1 & 1.2 at 6:30-7:30pm. Peter Chalk building is at the top of Forum Hill next to the big bronze fountain.

We are so excited to reveal our new project as Rethinking Committee for 2024/25!

As part of our mission to involve our members in constructing our society we are introducing our new zine, Rethink. Our zine will aim provide the opportunity to archive experiences within our sessions, highlight community artists, and share new ideas.

Our first issue will be an introduction to our committee and our new aims. In the future, we are looking towards involving our members and encourage you to share your essays, art and other creative endeavors.

Rethinking Issue 1 will be in print in September, visit us at our stall for a copy!

Our final Rethinking Session for the term is gonna be a sun-soaked bonanza! Come join us on Exmouth Beach where we'll be chilling, absorbing the maximum amount of Vitamin D and doing several rethinks throughout the day!

Meet us at St James Park Station at 1.30 to catch the 1.48 train next Thursday! Please bring any food or drink for the day down to the Rethinking Dune which will be given an exact location on the day.

Tonight at Rethinking, we'll be hosting a special speed-style session about three distinct political issues. Whether it is General Election 2024, the new restrictions on S*x Education in schools, or the effect of Baby Reindeer in news media. We'll be discussion it all this evening in the Forum Rooms.

(TW: The discussion on Baby Reindeer will involve talking about distressing topics such as s*xual assault, mental illness ect.)

When: 6.30-7.30
Where: Forum Rooms TBA (Keep an eye on the story)
