👑 A day fit for a King's Award

Yesterday our cofounder Ed was invited to the King's Award for Enterprise Reception at St James's Palace.

The invitation follows our second King's Award for Enterprise, this time recognising our innovation in the special effects industry. As an engineering company, we're always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of what's possible, so having that commitment recognised with one of the UK's highest business honours makes the occasion all the more meaningful.

Whilst there, Ed had the honour of speaking with His Majesty The King. He also had the pleasure of speaking with HRH The Princess Royal, who visited our headquarters last year, and meeting Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester.

It was also fantastic to see the Lord Lieutenant of Devon and celebrate alongside the other Devon recipients.

Receiving a King's Award in Innovation is an incredible honour, and one that reflects the passion, creativity and dedication of our whole team. We're immensely proud!

Each HYDRA-TECH head has a generous onboard capacity, holding up to 70 litres. For shorter showcases, this is often more than enough water.

For longer run times, we recommend a closed-loop recirculation system, allowing water to be collected, filtered, and reused throughout the performance.
