𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗢'𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘 - 𝗥𝗜𝗣

A message from David Phillips, our Chairman.

It is my sad duty to inform you that Brian, our chief coach, passed away on Sunday evening. Although he was unwell and receiving treatment, it was unexpected. Only last Thursday he was at the club, monitoring his huge training group, looking very cosy in his Christmas pudding bobble hat, after sorting the juniors into their groups.

He was with the club for many years and still ran regularly. A very experienced coach willing to encourage, support and help anyone. The way he carried on cheerfully in spite of his illness was an inspiration to us all.

In due course his family will let us know of funeral plans.

Our thoughts are very much with his beloved family, of whom he was very proud.
