Hot off the press: Vangl2 promotes the formation of long cytonemes to enable distant Wnt/β-catenin signaling. We show that Vangl2 regulates the length of Wnt-bearing cytonemes in the zebrafish, the mouse intestinal crypt, and in human gastric cancer cells.
