Starting 26th May 2026: "An introduction to Buddhism"

A series of largely self-contained sessions providing a comprehensive gateway into Buddhist thought and practice according to the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism.

Based on the text Rain of Clarity by Lama Jampa Thaye, offering a guide to all aspects of the Path; from becoming a Buddhist by taking Refuge, and then progressing to understanding the nature of the wisdom, compassion and power of enlightenment itself. This text also addresses some contemporary issues facing Western practitioners of Buddhism.

Each session begins with calm-abiding meditation, a platform for engaging with the teachings.

The sessions are run by a long-standing student of the meditation master and scholar Lama Jampa Thaye.
