We have had a busy few weeks. We are now back on site in rural Oxfordshire for Phase 3 of this build for Make Group.

But for more insight into the design, may we allow architects @charlieluxtondesign to explain further; "[The Edge] had evolved over the years with various piecemeal additions to the main farmhouse and ancillary buildings being added and taken away. Our scheme reduces and simplifies the volume of the buildings and reinstates the courtyard around which they are arranged. Landscaping is a central part of the scheme with a formally planted courtyard garden surrounded by more a naturalistic scheme for the wider site for enhanced biodiversity. As with all our projects sustainability is at the heart with a fabric first approach being used based on Passivhaus principles."
