Feeling incredibly down and sad having now left this paradise behind for another year.
The immense satisfaction and contentment gained from holidaying at this West Cork gem, recharging inner batteries and being at one with the environment will hopefully take time to diminish.

A passage from Co Cork into Co Kerry over the Healy Pass.
The welcoming sight of Kerry from the pass dropping down from the summit with Kennare Bay in the distance.

PORTAL….
A portal to another world opened above Union Hall, West Cork, Ireland this afternoon.
Never seen this effect before. The low overcast cloud was broken in places and the sun streamed through with shafts of sunlight emanating from the gap. Also the blue sky above was visible through the portal.
Amazing…. 🌤️

GUARDIANS OF YHE BEACON -
The view along the West Cork coastline from The Baltimore Beacon is simply staggering but on this visit the beacon was being guarded by a herd of cows which was just too good a photo opportunity to ignore.
West Cork fills my heart with joy….❤️

GOLDEN….
The mid February sunlight gradually fades whilst watching the sunset from the cliffs at Warren Point, high above Boscastle.
The North Cornish coast looking resplendent bathed in the glorious light.

PRIVILEGED ……
Twilight at Boscastle, nestled on the North Cornish Coast.
It’s amazing what a fresh lick of paint will do, out of season, to rejuvenate the fantastic and historic properties ready for the hoards that will visit later in the year.
In my opinion, this is definitely the best time of the year to visit these beautiful places.
