Fantastic news! Our Exeter MSc Management programme has been ranked top 10 in the UK and top 100 overall by the Financial Times. 🥳

A big thank you to our Class of 2019 alumni, who made this great success possible. Their responses also noted that student satisfaction was at 9.48 out of 10. We’re thrilled to hear that we’ve accomplished our goal of supporting students to make their career aspirations come true. 🌟

If you weren’t aware, each year the Financial Times contacts students who graduated three years previously, to ask them about their experience here at the University of Exeter Business School. That means the Class of 2020 will be next. 😊

We’re so proud to see what all our amazing alumni have gone on to achieve, and it’s wonderful knowing we were part of your journey. The Exeter MSc Management family is forever! ♥

Congratulations to all our amazing University of Exeter Business School MSc Management graduates! 🎓

Here are some of the 12-month Class of 2021 cohort, and some of the 9-month Class of 2022 cohort, with Programme Director Dr Claire D. 😊

It was important to us that we spent time with graduates before their ceremonies, chatting over drinks and nibbles, so that we could truly celebrate their achievements. Seeing the Class of 2021 students in-person was lovely, as they spent their studies online due to the pandemic. 💻

We’re so proud to have even more exceptional alumni joining the University of Exeter Forever family. This isn’t the end – we ensure to stay connected with our graduates and can’t wait to see what they go on to achieve. ❤

Alexander studied the 9-month version of the MSc Management programme at Exeter, which suited his goals. As he nears graduation, we asked him to share what his experience with us has been like… 👨‍🎓

“I chose to study the 9-month MSc Management programme, which was perfect for me as its condensed structure aligned with my aims. With the addition of two extra modules, my time management and adaptative skills were simultaneously tested and strengthened, preparing me for my future career.

Honestly, the time has gone incredibly quickly! It feels like just yesterday I was about to start the programme. Yet, in such a short period, it has provided me with a variety of invaluable information surrounding the world of business and management.

The Management MSc at Exeter has illuminated a pathway in which I have learnt to think innovatively and consider both sustainable and future trend-orientated perspectives. It’s taught me exactly how to apply my newfound theory in the workplace.

It hasn’t just been great academically though. The social side has been good, too, as the programme brings together a like-minded group in which to build solid friendships. I’ve made great connections with various students both on the programme and in other Exeter University programmes running alongside, thanks to the overlapping of modules and lots of group activities within and outside of studies.

With both a degree in History and now a degree in Management from Exeter University, I feel well prepared for my professional future.”

Meet Jack, one of our amazing Exeter MSc Management alumni. Our programme helped him navigate the business world after playing rugby professionally. 🏉

He graduated in 2020 and now works as a Senior Consultant for an Executive Search organisation. Here’s what he said about how his time at the University of Exeter Business School supported him in building his career. ⭐

“I was recently a professional rugby player, and the Management MSc was key in helping me shift from that into the world of business.

The programme was outstanding in supporting my personal development and mapping out my career plan. Before I did the Management MSc, I had very little idea of what career path I wanted to follow. After being involved in sport my whole life, my background in business was very limited, so it was extremely difficult to know where I fit in the working world.

Thanks to the Management MSc, I was given fantastic exposure to a variety of sectors within international business, studying a range of modules and meeting successful entrepreneurs that told me their stories. Not only that but learning about 'Global Career Management' helped me to develop vital personal skills that have been crucial to my success in areas such as job interviews, public speaking and presenting.

Global Career Management allowed me to map out and create a career plan with multiple different routes and realistic backups, which I still utilise now as I look to continue building upon my career.”
