Winter Safety – Howden’s Free Street Wise Owls Reflector Sticker

As the days get shorter and darker, children walking to and from school face increased risks on the roads. Visibility is key to safety- and that’s where our Street Wise owl comes in.

Your local Howden team is giving away free owl reflector stickers to help children stand out in low light. These fun, stick-on companions are designed to make kids more visible to drivers, especially during the busy school run. They come in a range of colours so children can choose their own.

Why it matters:
According to the 2024 Reported Road Casualties in Great Britain*:
• Over 19,000 pedestrians were injured last year.
• Children aged 16 and under accounted for 11% of all casualties.
• Most incidents happen during morning and evening hours when children are commuting.

Let’s make sure our children aren’t part of these statistics.

Love Evesham Awards 2025

Members of Evesham branch attended the third annual Love Evesham Awards on Saturday evening at The Vale Golf & Country Club.

The awards are designed to shine a spotlight on local heroes and positive contributions, from dedicated volunteers to thriving local businesses with members of the public being encouraged to nominate as many people and organisations as they like across two main sections: Community Awards and Business Awards.

Over 10,500 votes were made!

As the main sponsor of the event, Rob Hamblett of Howden Evesham presented the Special Recognition award to Mr George Lack of the Rotary Club Of Evesham Vale Trust Fund for his charity work in the community.

A fabulous evening was had by all, ending with a firework display and disco. 🎆 🕺

This little dinosaur was dropped outside our Howden office in Vine Street, Evesham on Thursday.
