Phone Scammers Targeting Evesham Area - NOW

We've received a number of calls in this week from customers who've been contacted over the phone by people claiming to be from BT, TalkTalk, etc.. wanting to take control of the computer.

For anyone that knows, this is obviously a scam.

Unfortunately not everyone is so tech-savvy and will fall victim to these fraudsters, often costing hundreds of pounds.
They are often not on facebook or the internet much to be aware.

Please let anyone that you know who maybe vulnerable to these scammers to just ignore the calls and put the phone down (often they can be too polite to put the phone down).

Any cold call that wants to take control of the computer WILL BE A SCAM. Internet companies have enough incoming calls to deal with, to start ringing up customers for more unpaid work.

One of the simplest ways to get rid of them is to play dumb. Tell them that you "don't have a computer", or ask "What's an internet?"

What could be more calming.... just look into those eyes... :-)
