It’s the Week of unusual Tetras here at Ely Exotics !

We pride ourselves in keeping a diverse range of species in store. Just by happy coincidence this week we have 5 beautiful species of Tetra arriving you rarely see in shops and all of which add not only a touch of rarity but superb colour to your tanks.

But what are they.. 🤔

Coral Red Pencilfish - Nannostomus mortenthaleri (pictured)

Purple Pencilfish - Nannostomus rubrocaudatus

Tucano Tetra - Tucanichthys tucano

Inferno Tetra - Hyphessobrycon sp. Infernalis

Blueberry Tetra - Hyphessobrycon wadai

The top 3 species have already arrived last night and the other 2 land with us later today 😍 keep an eye on our stories for more pictures 🐠

🕷️🕷️ NEW SPIDERS 🕷️🕷️

Two spider deliveries have landed this morning one of our favourite things to unbox 😍 some superb species here many we’ve either never offered before or not had for a while including the much sought after Brazilian Jewel ! 4 have arrived 3 have already been spoken for just from me mentioning we have them coming so the remaining one I doubt will hang around !

8 Spotted Crab Spiders Sub Adult
Eyelash Jumping Spiders (Sub Adults) 4 females 2 males

Another 40 spider has joined our range we already had of over 150 so there’s plenty of choice when it comes to spiders at Ely Exotics 😎🕷️

🐍🐍 Bamboo Ratsnakes 🐍🐍

We are pleased to offer 3 species of Bamboo Rat Snakes;

Chinese bamboo -Oreocryptophis porphyraceus vaillanti

Thailand bamboo-Oreocryptophis porphyraceus coxi

Broadbanded bamboo-Oreocryptophis porphyraceus laticinctus

You don’t often see these unusual colubrids available so this is a great opportunity to grab a very different species !
