🔋 Another motorhome made a little more off-grid ready! ☀️

Today we welcomed a newly purchased Bessacarr E460 into the workshop for a 150W solar upgrade.

The owner wanted reliable battery charging, so we supplied and fitted:
✅ 150W solar panel
✅ Victron MPPT smart controller
✅ Connected directly to the leisure battery for maximum charging efficiency

Interestingly, it looks like this motorhome had previously had both a solar panel and what appears to have been a satellite system removed. Rather than reusing the old installation, we gave it the attention it deserved.

We fitted the new panel using fresh corner mounts, replaced the tired roof entry gland, installed brand-new cabling, and left everything neat, secure, and built to last. The result? A clean, factory-style installation that will keep the leisure battery topped up whether it’s on a campsite or wild camping. 😎

It’s often the little details you can’t see that make the biggest difference to reliability, and we never cut corners when it comes to protecting your investment.

❄️ Beating the summer heat in style! 😎

This stunning Laika motorhome was in with us for one of our favourite upgrades – the incredible Truma Aventa Comfort Gen 2 roof-mounted air conditioning system. 👌

To achieve that clean, factory-fitted finish, we:
✅ Removed the existing centre rooflight
✅ Carefully created a concealed channel for the 230V wiring
✅ Connected into the existing 230V electrical system
✅ Installed a dedicated fused spur for added protection
✅ Fitted the new Truma Aventa Comfort Gen 2 unit
✅ Finished it off with the stylish stone-coloured air diffuser

As always, everything was fully tested, thoroughly cleaned, and demonstrated to the customer before handover.

The end result? Powerful cooling, integrated heating for cooler evenings, whisper-quiet operation, Bluetooth control, and a factory-quality installation that looks like it left the production line that way. 😍

A lovely newly purchased Compass Avantgarde visited the KamperBitz workshop for a couple of simple but essential upgrades to get it adventure-ready! 🚐☀️

First up was the installation of a superb 4.5m Fiamma F45 awning, creating a huge sheltered outdoor living space for relaxing, dining or escaping the unpredictable British weather! 🌦️

To finish things off, we supplied and fitted a Thule G2 Elite cycle rack, giving the owners a safe and secure way to take their bikes wherever the road leads. 🚲
