In May, the Edinburgh Council Policy &Sustainability Committee decided that the policy of charging for transport to/from day services was unlawful. They decided that the charging needs to stop and that people who have been paying should be contacted, their payments stopped and a refund given covering payments made since the policy became unlawful.
