Using a recipe of basically benign neglect from - fermenting some Rosebay Willowherb, also known as 🔥🌱 or Sunday name Chamaenerion angustifolium
The fermented then dried leaves (& maybe some flowers later in the year) were historically used as tea, often called Ivan's Chai 🫖☕️🫖
An alternative to the tea grown and imported post-colonisation - this is a delicate blend likened to the fanciest green tea you've ever tasted 😋 💚🌱

Our pals from Fibreshed Scotland - have an amazing Stitch It Don't Ditch It event coming up next Monday 1st June 7-8.30pm

When we have clothes we care about, it's lovely to extend their life through careful mending. It also does so much good by keeping them out of landfill.
This event is an opportunity to find out more about how Fibreshed Scotland celebrates and values natural fibres, as well as getting ‘tailored’ mending advice from our local hero, Mary Morton. Bring along something that needs mending, to stitch and chat with the group, or drop in with your specific mending query that Mary will answer on the spot.
This is a free event, but Mary is generously offering it as a contribution to Fibreshed Scotland’s work. If you’d like a ticket - which we’re offering on a pay what you like basis (£0 - £10+)
