- Scrumptious Snax closing at 2.30pm this Saturday -

As a gesture in remembrance and of respect for the royal family, and to allow those who wish to observe the silence at 3pm on Saturday to do so, as well as to watch any televised parts of Prince Philip’s funeral, we have taken the decision to close at 2.30pm this Saturday, the 17th of April, as opposed to the usual 3.30pm.

Such sad news today hearing about the passing of Captain Sir Tom Moore - he was a true hero.

We remember each day at the van checking to see how far he’d walked since the previous day, and how many more millions he had raised for our NHS in doing so. He kept our country motivated when we were at one of our lowest points and it was all for a phenomenal, selfless cause. We want to express our gratitude for what he did for us all and send our thoughts and condolences to his family at this time.

Thank you for your service and rest in peace, Captain. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

COVID-19 Update

To all our customers and friends:

We have decided that, for the time being, it is necessary for us to close in order to assist efforts to slow the spread of the Coronavirus, COVID-19. We make this decision with mixed emotions - we are sad that we will not see all of our wonderful customers over the next wee while, but so happy and proud to know and serve the amazing people that we do on a daily basis - thank you for the messages of support we have received, and thank you to all of you for helping keep everybody that bit safer by sticking to social distancing guidelines recently. We promise you that we will be back when it is safe to do so!
