On the 25th January 1759, Rabbie Burns was born in Alloway, Scotland.

This boy grew into Scotland's most famous and beloved poet and lyricist. His poems and songs have gone on to be read and sung all over the world by millions.

As I write this, I raise my glass to toast the memory of Robert Burns, one of Scotland's favourite sons.
