I had the great pleasure of visiting Glenkinchie Distillery Diageo with our delegation that included Bundesminister Martin Kocher, Federal Minister of Labour and Economy of Austria, Ambassador Bernhard Wrabetz, Trade Commissioner Michael Mueller and Benedikt Charvat. We were warmly welcomed by East Lothian Provost John McMillan, who provided valuable insights into the economic strengths and opportunities within the region.

Thank you, John, for your hospitality🤝and to Glenkinchie for an unforgettable experience showcasing the rich heritage of whisky-making in East Lothian. It's clear that East Lothian holds a strong position in the Scottish economy, and I'm excited about the potential for further collaboration between Austria 🇦🇹 and Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🤝✨
