Tough and testing day out paddling for an group the other week. Consistent blowy onshore winds meant there was no room for complacency or laziness. The teams all worked harder than they thought they could and had a splashing time!

I recently returned with my Bradfield College team for Global Action from Zanzibar Island, just off the coast of mainland Tanzania.

2 weeks spent exploring, soaking up the culture, learning of the islands rich history and witnessing/assisting in some projects run by local groups and NGOs to further the coastal communities sustainability goals, increase women's empowerment & employment opportunities in the region along with learning of the ocean conservation efforts and studies on the surrounding coral reefs (which, btw, are absolutely beautiful).

Big emphasis on personal development for the team to enhance their knowledge of the world, make them strong global citizens and future leaders.

I couldn't have asked for a better team, and they smashed everything we set them while immersing themselves fully.
