📣📣 Edinburgh R**e Crisis Centre is seeking a principled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead ERCC’s skilled and dynamic team and work collaboratively with our Board of Directors to deliver the organisation’s strategic plan and objectives.

You will be an experienced senior manager with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a track record in strategic planning, people management, fundraising and charity finance management, and successful multi-agency partnership work.

You will have a clear understanding of and commitment to trauma-informed, feminist management and leadership.

Our Prevention Team and Student and Young People’s Team had a great day at the 16 Days event at St David’s School during the 16 Days to End Violence Against Women.

They met lots of pupils from different years who participated in activities about sexual violence. See the photos for what pupils wrote down what they thought were Red Flags and Green Flags in relationships.

👀 Edinburgh Fringe Show! Fundraising in aid of Edinburgh R**e Crisis Centre ⬇️

‘Derby Day’, a new writing drama from debuts at Edinburgh Fringe 2025 after their success with 5-star show Wish You Were Here.

The play addresses the damage caused by the sexual abuse, unbroken cycles of violence and knife crime that threaten working-class communities throughout Scotland. This piece has lived-experience at its core.

Without Compromise Theatre is a Fife new writing company dedicated to telling honest, working class stories with the mission to engage diverse and undertepresented audiences

This new role, Survivor Engagement Worker (21 hrs, £34,070 pro-rata) will play a central role in building, supporting and sustaining a vibrant and inclusive survivor community. We are looking for someone passionate about amplifying survivor voices and fostering a sense of agency and peer-support through establishing a community of survivors. You will be empathetic, a skilled facilitator and collaborative, with a deep belief in the power of lived experience to drive systemic change.

Interviews will be held on: 08 September 2025
