Aston Martin have released a limited run super car with styling cues from classic Astons.

This is the Aston Martin Valour, it’s is also influenced by the ones off Aston Martin Victor. It does however tick the boxes being a manual gearbox v12.

Priced at around £800k plus tax it’s out of my price range but I can’t help think it looks like a Ford Mustang.

Car buyers now, thanks but I’ll stick with a manual car while I can 😁

When MG was looking for a replacement for the MGB, the prototype known as the EX234 was born. Two chassis were made in the Abingdon factory and one of these was sent to the Pininfarina design house, in Turin Italy. Their brief was to create sharp new body for a vehicle which was hoped to replace both the Midget and the MGB.
The resulting car would benefit from a 4 seater layout and was powered by a 1275cc A series engine.
When fitted with its elegant hardtop it was possible to imagine what the GT version would have looked like.
Taking influence from a number of other vehicles it’s clear to see the Italian influence in the design.
Sadly the car remained a one off and was sold at auction in 2016 for £63000.
