🎾 Discover Pickleball – Free Sessions at Meadowbank for Over 75s!
Looking to try something new, stay active, and meet others in a relaxed and friendly environment?
Re-engage and Pickleball Scotland are hosting free monthly Pickleball for Wellbeing sessions for anyone aged 75 and over, with FREE tea and coffee provided afterwards in the café.
🗓 Upcoming sessions:

🕒 Time: 3:00 – 4:00 PM
📍 Location: Meadowbank Sports Centre
These sessions are inclusive and beginner-friendly, using softer balls, seated play options, and adapted equipment for those with sensory or mobility needs. No prior experience is needed, and all equipment is provided - just turn up and play!
Led by a qualified coach, the sessions aim to build confidence, encourage gentle movement, and foster social connection in a welcoming setting.
Whether it’s for yourself, a friend, or a family member - come along and give it a go!

It was a lovely weekend training for the Kiltwalk with Edinburgh Leisure’s Team Ageing Well 👣💪
Over 60 people have signed up for the Kiltwalk on 15th September to raise funds for our Ageing Well project. So far, we’ve raised over £3,000! There’s still time to walk with us ⌚🚶♀️🚶

Get involved now if you'd like to give Nordic Walking a go.
New 6-week Beginner Nordic Walking course starting in August. The course is part of our Ageing Well programme, supporting people to be active in later life. This beginner course is great for those looking to try out a new activity, meet like-minded individuals and get active.
The course will begin at Saughton Park for the first 4 weeks, introducing participants to the use of Nordic poles and covering skills and techniques. The final 2 weeks will allow participants to practice their new skills by going on walks around the local area.
