Stenhouse Plug-In

Walking into a new building... lots of new faces and people... starting a conversation... can be REALLY difficult! I remember going to a friends wedding and not knowing anyone else there. It's hard work!

BUT, it might be reassuring to know that when you come upstairs to Stenhouse Plug-In that you will be welcomed by the most friendliest group of people.
We are also starting a BAKING workshop in the backroom where you can join in on making cakes and tray-bakes with your hands and chatting to some people at the same time.

Building community can seem daunting at the beginning, but it's also the most rewarding thing you can do too.

The legend on the LEFT is Nathanael. We were gutted to see him at his last Stenhouse Plug-In last Thursday.

Nathanael volunteered his time and sacrificed his own lunchtime break to come wash dishes, connect with folk from the community and occasionally cook some of the lunches.

We are very thankful for all that you've done for the Drop-In behind the scenes - thank you. We wish you all the best for what 2023 has in store for you, Nathanael.

What an amazing time yesterday where we had up to 25 people at Stenhouse Plug-In, joined by the legendary Rebecca from B Healthy and Graeme from ChangeWorks.

We are thrilled that Rebecca will be cooking a delicious and nutritional meal every couple of weeks!

If you are ever interested to find out what's on your doorstep in Stenhouse, then come along and get plugged in! We will be having more local organisations sharing their great work in the community.
