Did you know it’s less than 3 months till summer? ☀️

This is the time where a lot of people want to get into shape because they want their “summer body” for “taps aff” weather.

Having a deadline can create urgency, which boosts motivation, however it can also lead to anxiety because there’s so much uncertainty in terms of how to get there.

Please understand that it’s common to feel overwhelmed at any stage in your fitness journey but especially if you’re just starting out.

The scale doesn’t always matter

My online client Chris is a perfect example of this.

As you can see from his comparison photos, he is significantly leaner and has more muscle on his body.

The scales tell another story though..

Between these two pictures there is less than 1kg difference.
-
Yes, just 1kg. That’s it.
-
This is why I’m so big on taking progress pictures and documenting body measurements as well as noting how you feel mentally.
-
Because the number on the scale is only one piece of data.
-
And that’s all it is.
