Adventuring with the two of you has become one of my favourite things to do.

Who am I even? If you had of asked me just two years ago about what I thought about “adventures” I would have pulled a face, one that has a wrinkly nose and curled up lip. I scoff at the word, I like comfy, I enjoy being lazy, I like being home in our own space, I like naps, and nights in snuggled on the couch. Adventure has too much unknown, the unfamiliar, it hints of things that can’t always be planned, and yet here we are, up to our elbows in adventure, and I could hardly be happier.
From our first greatest adventure welcoming our sweet boy into our lives and figuring out how to be a Daddy and Mommy, to leaving everything we knew, all that was comfortable to start a new life in a foreign country.
You boys have brought out the little adventurer in me.

We have become those people (I used to eye roll at 🙄 sorry people, I take it back 😉) the ones who struggle to sit still, our weekends are filled with mini adventures and outings. We go on long walks, fly kites, explore muddy woods, picnic on canals, discover new towns and castle ruins and on a Sunday evening, we climb into bed a feeling of content surrounds us as we think back to a weekend well spent.
