💬 Safe space for women 18+
It’s not just all tea, biscuits and a good chat (although there’s plenty of that too). There's laughter, honesty, support, sometimes a few tears, and always real connection.
Maybe... tonight, we'll see you there?

Maybe NEST is for you...
🪶 If you've ever sat in a room full of people and still felt lonely.
🪶 If you're the one everyone leans on, but rarely have someone to lean on yourself.
🪶 If you've spent so long holding it together that you've forgotten what support feels like.
🪶 If you're navigating change, loss, overwhelm, anxiety, low confidence, or simply feeling a bit lost...
You don't have to figure it all out alone.
NEST is a free, women-only peer support group where you can show up exactly as you are.
No pressure. No judgement. No need to pretend you've got it all together.
Just real women, real conversations and a safe space to breathe.

What an incredible evening celebrating NEST's 1st Anniversary.
To every woman who attended last night, whether you've been with us since the beginning or walked through our doors for the very first time, thank you.
A year ago, NEST was just an idea. A hope that women could come together in a safe, welcoming space where they would be heard, supported, valued and never judged.
Today, NEST is a thriving community of women who lift each other up, share life's challenges, celebrate successes and remind one another that nobody has to face things alone.
The truth is, NEST isn't the room, the coffee, or the committee.
NEST is YOU.
Every conversation, every smile, every word of encouragement, every act of kindness has helped shape NEST into what it is today.
We genuinely wouldn't be where we are without each and every one of you.
Thank you for your trust. Thank you for your courage. Thank you for your support. Thank you for being part of our NEST family.
Here's to everything we've achieved together over the last year and to many more years of friendship, connection and support ahead.
With love and gratitude,
The NEST Team 🪶

🎉💖 NEST IS ONE YEAR OLD TODAY! 💖🎉
One year ago, NEST opened its doors with a simple vision: to create a safe, welcoming space where women could come together, be themselves, and know they didn't have to face life's challenges alone.
What a year it has been..
We've shared laughter and tears. We've celebrated victories, both big and small. We've listened without judgement. We've supported one another through some incredibly difficult times. And we've built something truly special together.
To every woman who has walked through our doors, shared a story, made a brew, offered a kind word, or simply shown up when it felt hard to do so...
Thank you..
Tonight we'd love to celebrate with you.
Whether you've been attending since day one, came along once, or have been thinking about joining but haven't quite made it yet, tonight is the perfect evening to come along.

We often talk about the importance of peer support, but support across generations can be just as powerful. What a fantastic initiative helping young people feel seen, heard, and valued!
Intergenerational friendships can help reduce loneliness, build confidence, create understanding, and remind us that we all have something valuable to offer, regardless of our age.
Not every young person has a trusted adult to turn to. Not every young person has grandparents nearby, positive role models, or someone who simply has the time to listen.
The idea of older generations sharing their life experience, encouragement, wisdom, and support with younger people is something we wholeheartedly support.
If you've ever wondered whether one person can make a difference, the answer is yes. Sometimes a conversation, a listening ear, or an hour of your time can change the direction of someone's life.
A huge well done to everyone involved in making opportunities like this happen.👏👏👏

"What are you pretending doesn't bother you?"
Last night at NEST, we explored a question that sparked honest, heartfelt conversations:
What are you pretending doesn't bother you?
Sometimes it's easier to say "I'm fine" than admit we're hurt, overwhelmed, lonely, disappointed, exhausted, or struggling.
We pretend the harsh comment didn't sting. We pretend we're not carrying the weight of everyone else's problems. We pretend we're coping when we're running on empty.
But here's the thing...
What we ignore doesn't disappear. It waits patiently for us to acknowledge it.
At NEST, we create a space where women can put down the mask, speak openly, and realise they're not alone in what they're carrying.
So we'll ask you too...
👇 What are you pretending doesn't bother you?
(You don't need to give details. Even a single word can be enough.)

𝐀 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤. 𝐀 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧. 𝐀 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞.
𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 meets every Tuesday evening in Dunfermline.
It’s a space where women come together to share how their week has been, talk about what’s on their mind, or simply take a quiet moment for themselves.
𝐍𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐍𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬. 𝐍𝐨 𝐟𝐞𝐞. 𝐍𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞.
Just a friendly welcome, a hot drink, and the comfort of knowing you’re not alone.
If you’ve been looking for connection, understanding or simply a breather from the day-to-day, you’ll find it here.

The Power of "No"
Last night at NEST we talked about one of the smallest words in the English language, yet one of the hardest for many of us to say:
No.
For so many women, saying no comes wrapped in guilt, fear, obligation, and worry about how others will react. We are often taught to keep the peace, avoid disappointing people, and put everyone else's needs before our own.
But saying no isn't rude. It isn't selfish. It isn't unkind.
It's a boundary.
Every time we honour our own feelings, every time we choose our wellbeing over people-pleasing, we take back a little more of our power.
Remember:
🪶 "No" is a complete sentence.
🪶 You do not owe everyone access to your time, space, or energy.
🪶 Someone else's disappointment does not mean you've done something wrong.
🪶 Healthy relationships can survive healthy boundaries.
If saying no feels difficult, start small. The more you practice, the stronger your voice becomes.
What's one boundary you've set recently that made a positive difference in your life?
