Looking forward to the 2021’s season start in May with ScotForce Healthcare 💪🏁

What a weekend to get back in the seat. A very wet track and racing against some very good drivers.

Heat 1: Started 7th on the grid, after making up a few places came home in 3rd.

Heat 2: started 5th and made up another few positions finishing 2nd.

Heat 3: started on pole and dropped to 3rd but picked up 2nd after penalties were applied.

In the final I struggled to get the kart on after opting for too low tyre pressures. Started 2nd and dropped back going in to the first corner but held on to finish 3rd.

Really happy with my performance this weekend especially having not raced in over a year, and having only tested senior once. With the pace between the field of drivers being so close and the conditions so poor it was great to be involved in such competitive and clean racing. Big shout out to the club and the officials for running a great event, and a sad goodbye to Sharon,Dougie and Jennifer who are hanging up their marshaling flags. We will all miss you greatly.
