❤️🥅⚽️ A memorial football match celebrating the life of much-loved Dundee footballer Ellie Scanlan will take place next month, bringing together family, friends, teammates and the wider community to honour her memory while raising money for a cause close to her heart.

Ellie, who proudly represented clubs across Dundee and the local area was an ambassador for the local charity Help For Kids, sadly passed away last year. Since then, her family and those closest to her have worked to ensure her legacy continues by supporting the charity she cared so deeply about.

As preparations for Ellie’s Memorial Football Match continue, organisers are appealing for additional raffle and auction prizes to help raise as much money as possible.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who has already donated. If you, your business, or someone you know can donate vouchers, experiences, gifts or services, every contribution, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated.

The match will see Ellie Scanlan FC take on Tayside Ladies & Glenrothes Strollers at Thomson Park, Dundee, on 18 July from 1pm until 5pm. Alongside the football, there will be DJs, food and drink, raffles, prizes and face painting, with tickets costing £5 on the door.

Every penny raised from the day will be donated to Help For Kids in Ellie’s memory. If you can support the raffle or auction, please get in touch with the organisers, and please consider sharing this post to help spread the word and make this special day an even bigger success.

So we hate having to speak about Christmas at the start of summer, however, children need us and especially at Christmas time, that’s why we are extremely excited to announce our Christmas ball will be taking place at Apex Hotel Dundee Saturday 14th November. 😊
