Congratulations to all our students at the Generation Science Showcase today for the Biomedical and Forensic Science programmes!

There were some fantastic projects on display! You should all be incredibly proud of your achievements over the last 4 years and we look forward to seeing you all again in July for graduation!

Thank you to everyone who joined us - students, family, friends, colleagues and Deacon Alan Matthew from The Bonnetmaker Craft of Dundee who kindly sponsored the prizes.

As for the prize winners themselves…….see our next few posts!

Has it really been 6 months since we last posted on here?! 😮

Well, we are back - with a BANG! 💥Check this out!

Yesterday, our 3rd and 4th year forensic science students received their much anticipated guest lecture on bomb disposal from 11 EOD, followed by a trip to Barry Buddon Training Area to observe live detonations and get hands on with the bomb disposal kit including the robot, suits and CBRN respirators.

We are very proud of the long-standing collaboration we have with 11 EOD and the unique expertise they bring to the forensic science course to support student learning on explosives, explosions and how bomb disposal and forensics work together.
