Absolute Classics

Tonight is the opening night of the Absolute Classics Summer Festival and offers music that feels like summer from the first bar.

Violinist Victoria Lyon, known to many from Escala and Britain’s Got Talent, leads Ensemble Lyon.

It is a vivid curtain-raiser, and a chance to hear one of classical music’s most recognisable works fully alive in the concert hall, rather than reduced to a familiar snippet.
