𝘿𝙀𝙍𝙀𝙆 𝙈𝘾𝙂𝙀𝙀 𝙍𝙀𝙏𝙐𝙍𝙉𝙎 𝙏𝙊 𝘽𝙐𝙍𝙍𝙊𝙒𝙎 𝙀𝙉𝙂𝙄𝙉𝙀𝙀𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙂 / 𝙍𝙆 𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙄𝙉𝙂

We are delighted to announce that Derek McGee will make his return to Irish road racing with Burrows Engineering / RK Racing, riding the team’s BMW M1000RR Superbike and Ducati Panigale V2 Supersport machine at Walderstown and Armoy Road Races.

The 8 time Irish road racing champion is no stranger to the team, having previously ridden for us in 2016 aboard our Supertwin.

We first spoke to Derek over the winter about the possibility of working together this season, but at the time we couldn’t quite make anything happen. A couple of weeks ago we revisited those discussions, put our heads together, and came up with a plan that we’re all excited about.

Derek’s years of experience and huge success in the past make him a fantastic addition to the team, and we’re looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together at Walderstown and Armoy.

John Burrows - “I’m very happy to put together a deal with Derek to ride for us at Walderstown and Armoy. Derek’s performance last year at the Cookstown 100 confirmed to me that he is still very capable on the small roads. I spoke briefly to Derek in winter about putting a plan together for 26 but nothing came to fruition up until a few days ago. I am looking forward to seeing what we can do together at both meetings and I am confident Derek can do a good job.”
