It’s Dementia Action Week and we have had so much to shout about. 🧡

Our wrinkly rave for Art of Age was back, as joyful and full of life as ever, and we’re so grateful to the Innovation Fund which helps make it possible. A big shout out to for being the best hosts !

For the past couple weeks everyone has been working on fimo bag charms and airdry clay aliens here are some of the outcomes !

Last week was our lovely volunteer had her last day with us for a while whilst she packs up to go and live on a narrow boat for a few months ! She will be missed but we wish her all the best ok her exciting adventures 💖

Last week some of our lovely group members visited Turner Contemporary , where photos of our Art of Age sessions, taken by local photographer Ross Wheatley, were on display as part of the Community in Focus Competition.

The competition invited charities, voluntary groups and CICs across Kent and Medway to submit images capturing the true meaning of community. And we think Ross captured ours beautifully. Described in the image as "a joyful reminder that art, laughter, and shared time can nurture both heart and mind at any age," which really does say it all.

We're so proud to see the work of this group recognised, and to have a talent like Ross shining a light on it. What a lovely thing to be part of.
