Family run Smye-Rumsby Ltd is a long-established company founded in 1948 and incorporated in 1959.
Based in Dover, Kent, we have sought to evolve our services to meet the ever increasing and developing world of Radio Communications and Electronics on both land and sea.
Providing bespoke system design, high quality equipment, servicing and maintenance, to meet varied procurement requirements. Working alongside the Education Sector, NHS, Premiership Football Clubs and International Travel Companies for many years, has made us become acutely aware of the need to seek the satisfaction of all our customers by giving excellent customer service.

Our knowledge and expertise has expanded to all forms of land-based mobile and fixed station radios, including the design and planning of bespoke customised systems. Our company operates a communications service, comprising of a Kent wide community repeater network which a utilised by many national organisations for their operational communications.
We provide procurement and maintenance services to users of marine navigational equipment, including shore-based radar and radio communications.
Smye-Rumsby has, in conjunction with the Police, Local Authorities and Shop Retailers, organised Crime Prevention Packages using Body Worn Cameras and CCTV security systems. Assisting the emergency services and reducing crime in many towns and cities.

We can offer Communications Europe BWC kits for hire from just £25.00 per week, per camera!

Your staff will be provided with better protection against aggression and intimidation. Footage can be downloaded securely for review and used for evidential purposes.
