A massive thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the opening of the 2026 Studio KIND Summer Open!!
The exhibition highlights the breadth and diversity of work being produced across the region, and represents over sixty artists at all stages of their careers working across all mediums including painting, photography, moving image, sculpture, printmaking, drawing and ceramics.
The exhibition is now open so make sure to stop by and see the amazing breadth and quality of works for yourself!

Charcoal drawings evoke a powerful, dramatic atmosphere through velvety blacks, luminous grey tones, and striking contrasts of light and shadow. Their expressive textures range from soft, smoky blends to bold, dynamic marks that bring depth and emotion to every composition.

In this relaxed workshop, will guide you through the essential techniques for creating expressive landscapes in charcoal. Learn how to build tonal depth and contrast, capture light, texture, and movement, and confidently explore mark-making, blending, and composition to bring your landscapes to life.

No experience is necessary and materials are provided.
