It feels like a very overdue catch up over here… 👋🏼

If I’m honest, life has completely swept me away these past few months and Milsbhdesign ended up taking a bit of a back seat.

A huge part of that has been starting an Early Years course with the help of Venture Outdoor Kindergarten, something I felt really passionate about doing to hopefully inspire children to be creative, curious and confident. Between coursework and practical placements, it’s taken up a huge amount of my time and brain space. I’m hoping this chapter will help me build an art studio for children who feel they need a creative output.

Alongside that, I completed the London Marathon for the MSA Trust. Training honestly took over my life for months, alongside fundraising, planning events and trying to balance everything else life throws in. It was the most emotional, incredible and proudest achievement to run for my mum, but now it’s over I’ve definitely felt a little bit lost without that focus.

Throw in extra work because, well, bills and life and it’s been a lot. Although I’m very lucky that my extra work is with two lovely small businesses I love! Devon Artisan Hub and Wembury Wild Saunas, thank you for letting me be part of your venture.

Trying to make time for my mum and family too has meant there hasn’t been much headspace left for my little business. Something that used to feel like my calm, creative happy place started to feel more like another pressure hanging over me.

But recently I’ve had a bit of a firm word with myself, taken the pressure off and slowly started feeling inspired again.

So this is your little “I’m still here” post. I’m easing myself back in, slowly but surely, and feeling excited for the busy summer season ahead for Milsbhdesign.

Thank you for sticking around while life has been life-ing. It honestly means the world 🤍

Hello 🤍
Sorry for the long absence on social media. I’ve been soaking up as much of the festive period as possible with my family and enjoying the lead-up to Christmas without the pressure of being online. Alongside this, I’ve also started a new and exciting job, which has been a big change.

That said, I’ve still been incredibly busy with events and wholesale, which has kept the business ticking along over the past few months. I just wanted to take a moment to say how thankful I am for another year of milsbhdesign for the continued support from my wonderful repeat customers, shops, galleries, new customers, and of course my family and friends. It’s been another amazing season.

As always, I’ll be taking January to finish commissions, organise the studio, review 2025 and plan for an exciting 2026. I hope you’ll stick around 🤍
