Natural Swimming Pond.

A shot taken earlier this week looking across part of the regeneration zone of a natural swimming pond designed by me in an informal wildlife garden in Cambridgeshire. The second image is of the pool edge taken earlier this year.

Water is such a magical element - the cradle of life.
It's inclusion in the garden provides a constant source of interest, surprise and intrigue.

It's not just about the flower! A carefully designed compostion of differing foliage forms and greens can provide a much longer period of interest in the garden - consider the flowers as an added bonus.
